• Gifts of Stocks and Securities +

  Many donors choose to take advantage of the tax benefits of gifts of stocks or securities. By donating shares directly, you get a larger tax credit and give more to Branksome Hall.

• Flow-Through Shares +

  Flow-through shares allow donors to purchase shares of Canadian resource companies and donate them to Branksome Hall, reducing their taxable income, and accelerating the development of resource projects in Canada.

  
  

  The after-tax cost of giving is reduced to less than 10 per cent of the donation amount, often leading to transformational impact. See the chart below for an example.

• United Way +

  Participating in your workplace’s United Way campaign? You can double your impact by directing your United Way donation to Branksome Hall through your employer’s United Way campaign, receiving credit for both campaigns. If doing so, please be sure to let us know of your gift so we can recognize you appropriately at advancement@branksome.on.ca.

• Matching Gifts +

  If you or your spouse work for a matching gift company, your contribution to Branksome Hall could be matched, doubled or even tripled. To find out if your employer qualifies for matching, search for your organization’s name below.

• Giving From the U.S. & Internationally +

  There are many ways you can donate to Branksome Hall if you reside outside Canada. You can donate online, by mail or over the telephone (416-920-6265, ext. 212). You can also make a gift of stocks and securities by downloading and following the instructions on this transfer form. We are happy to send Canadian tax receipts to supporters based outside Canada, but we are not authorized to issue international tax receipts.  

  
  

  If you are based in the U.S. and would like to receive a U.S. tax receipt, please make your donation through our partner FRISBE (Friends of Independent Schools and Better Education). You can donate through FRISBE in one of the following ways:
