Global Opportunities
Being a globally-minded school definitely has its advantages.
Nothing broadens the horizons like seeing what’s beyond the horizon. So Branksome Hall, in addition to our Grade 9 study abroad program with Branksome Hall Asia (our sister school on Jeju Island, South Korea), has cultivated several international relationships. They provide the opportunity for exchange and service trips abroad.
Student Exchange Program
Branksome Hall’s International Student Exchange Program allows students in Grades 8–10 to experience school and daily life in another country for a period of two to five weeks. Branksome currently has four exchange partnerships with schools in Australia, England, France, Scotland and Spain.
Participation in the Student Exchange Program provides students with an enriching and immersive experience in another culture and a unique opportunity to attend school in other parts of the globe.
Service Trips
In Queenstown, South Africa, the Get Ahead Project School has partnered with Branksome Hall and Toronto's Rose Avenue Public School to form the "Triangle of Hope." Together, students from the three schools work to increase cultural understanding and friendship.
A service trip to Costa Rica each year gives Grades 10-11 students the chance to learn about issues related to environmental sustainability and live with local families to learn about their customs and culture.

Travel Assistance for Trips
Recognizing the importance of travel opportunities and the financial constraints that school trips might impose, endowed bursaries, established by donors, enable our students to participate in these specialized programs. Learn more here.
LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We wish to acknowledge this land on which Branksome operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.
