Foundation

Established in 2005, the Branksome Hall Foundation manages Branksome’s endowment assets — now valued at more than $20 million.

The Foundation’s holdings are held and invested, with a disbursement (typically four per cent of a fund’s value) provided to the school each year. In order to protect the endowment’s principal, any additional earnings above the disbursement are reinvested as a growth strategy.
Endowment income is used to support Student Financial Assistance, capital improvements, upkeep of facilities, curriculum and program enhancement and school awards.

The Foundation is overseen by an independent board of trustees who aim to serve as judicious stewards of all Foundation resources. They are guided by the important trust placed in them by Foundation donors.

For more information on The Branksome Hall Foundation or endowments, please contact the Advancement Office at 416-920-6265, ext. 212, or advancement@branksome.on.ca.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We wish to acknowledge this land on which Branksome operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.*

*The Land Acknowledgement may evolve as we honour our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation in partnership with Indigenous communities.

Setting the new standard for girls' education everywhere takes collective action. From all of us.
